MUSIC VIDEO
It was a debut clip of the singer DASHI. All costumes were tailor-made in accordance with the concept of the video. The "anime" style was taken as the basis, all looks of Dashi and girls are deliberately exaggerated and transformed into "cartoon". Imagine dragons soaring on kimonos, dancing daisy girls, and bodies covered with paint. I used all sorts of color combinations, modern materials and complex imagery to create this fairy tale. It took exactly a month to develop the costumes from sketch to full implementation. Each costume is made in a single copy.

MISS CO
A doll created by the famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami is taken as the basis for this image. She is motionless, but has a lively look. It was very important to achieve the feeling that Dashi is a doll. That is why I took matte shine polyethylene as the main fabric. That fabric is similar to the sheen of a plastic doll. Polyethylene also holds its shape very well. The suit is tight-fitting and wrinkle-free.
MUSE
A modern muse is in front of you - this is how I see her. Her body is naked and shiny, it is decorated with flowers of various delicate shades, pearls scattered all over it. The main fabric is transparent polyethylene to simulate a wet shiny body.
The costume is decorated with applique, each detail hand-painted to add volume to the color. Also, the whole costume is embroidered by hand with beads in the form of flowers. Pointe shoes on the legs feet, the costume is worn over them, so the leg seems longer and neater. On the hands the costume turns into gloves.
SPILLED PAINT
The girls dressed in tops and leggings that completely cover their legs (the girls have pointe shoes on their legs feet to make the leg look elongated and neat, leggings are worn over). The main fabric is also velvet, but the print with "flowing" paint is only on the legs, as in the dance they line up in a certain figure, where only their legs are visible behind Dashi.
The main fabric is deep blue velvet in of a complex shade. The material has an "overflow" and a matte shine. The print imitates spilled paint that "flows" along the shape of the body, emphasizing its curves. The print drawn specifically for the costume, taking into account the curves of the body, printed on a matte supplex. The print has no shine, unlike the main fabric.
FLYING DRAGON
The girls also have a dragon appliqué, but only parts of it. In the dance, when the girls stand in a row, the dragon on their dresses is assembled from parts together.
Dashi and girls are wearing a kimonoes with wide sleeves, the main material is dense satin with a matte sheen. Dashi's dress is embellished with an appliqué in the form of a large dragon, located all over the front side made of mother-of-pearl lacquer, the material glows and shimmers.
GIRLS DAISIES
The print of the costumes echoes the location - these are white clouds in the blue sky. Dashi in a dress with large side slits. The basis of the dress is a figured bodice, made without a single seam.
Each of the girls is a daisy with a big flower on the head. Flowers are custom made of paper by the artist Venera Kazarova.
